Week 34 and Chaser-Racer is a big boy!
We went to the Doc this week and Chaser has a bit of dilation on one of his kidneys again, so we are set up with a pediatric urologist. All this means is that Chaser will need a workup 2-3 days after birth. He is measuring about 6 days ahead, with the exception of his noggin, which is measuring like 37 weeks! Whoa!! The doctor mentioned the possibility of a C-section (he did not say I would definitely need one, he just mentioned it) I am fine with having Chase C-section or naturally, I just want him to be healthy and safe.
How am I feeling you may ask... Well I am feeling HUGE MASSIVE GIGANTIC! Chase kicks most of the time and get hiccups about twice a day. I am not sure if I am growing anymore, but I am definitely getting pretty uncomfortable. Sleeping is hard and getting worse. My hips and knees hurt because of the belly weight. I have been not so much hungry, but thirsty around the clock. Heartburn sucks! heehee Its pretty bad but again totally worth it!
We are so ready to meet our little man. Erik is getting a bit nervous about the me going into the hospital and possibly having surgery. He's so sweet. He's been hanging out with me around the house and taking me for walks. We are also continuing with our Childbirth Classes. They are going ok, pretty easy stuff but we are learning relaxation techniques and breathing exercises. Next week we will be watching labor videos! ekkk!
We are also proud to report that erik got his Aggie Ring this week! Yay! Its so beautiful!
This upcoming week, along with the the holiday, we have a doctor appointment and a screen. We are going to start checking for dilation as well. So, as erik and I say "This is Gettin Real!"
