We cannot imagine having to wait this long for our little man, he came "early" but I think his timing was perfect!
Everyday we are learning a bit more about being parents and what is best for Chase. Its been wonderful having my parents here to help us out and keep our house together. I spend most of my day keeping up with feeding and changing diapers. My poor mom is in charge of all the laundry and Chase goes through alot of it. He pees on either one of us or the wall next his changing table at least once a day. Breastfeeding is difficult for me at this point Chase is so small and I am still learning. I am dedicated to it though and am going to stick it out!! Erik has been a huge help to me and wonderful partner in parenting. After such a crazy labor and delivery, and now bringing our son home and adjusting to being parents, we have never been closer although we sleep in shifts, now use terms like "diaper toy" "blankie", " and the most often used "tee-tee".
Today is Chase is 11 days old and I can already tell you the days are going by to fast.
