and then there was you...

So other than me being a horrid blogger lots have been going on in the Cannon household. Erik started a new position, Chase is growing FAST, our dear friends the Willome's welcomed Baby Hudson in to the world, Little G and Papa G visited, Auntie Liz visited, Great Granny Grace's Bday, I am starting to shoot again ...on and on and on...
People told me that this phase in my life would go by fast, but I never imagined it literally fly by!

Let see.. where to start..
First off Chase is Huge and I love it! he is 13lbs and growing strong! My mother bought him undershirts in size 0-3months when she was here for Valentines Day weekend. I was sure she shrunk them as they kept rolling up over Chases tummy. So today I went to Babierus (with the help of my cousin... I'll get into that later) to buy him more.. .. I soon discover that She had not shrunk the shirts... my son (my 2 month old son) was needing size 3-6 months. I was partly shocked but mostly proud! I love chubby babies! And between my thin hubby and petite self, having a chubby, could be linebacker son would be AMAZING!

Breastfeeding..
Breastfeeding has gotten increasing easier as he gets older and I am so thankful. BFing is very important to me.  I am lucky to have a great support system and understanding friends to help me. It is a struggle though, to make sure you are feeding often enough, you are producing enough milk.. etc... the list goes on and on

Updates...
We are starting to venture out into the world! The weather is getting nicer and Chase is getting bigger so we are starting to take him out with us. We ventured out first with my parents to the Mall and to a quick Lunch. It went great Chase slept and only woke to eat. (which is an adventure to do at the Mall or in the car parking lot) We took him to the Ft Worth Botanic Gardens and the to Erik;s fav restaurant! He was amazing. Although our trips out are usually cut short or often interrupted for Yummy breastmilk. We adore ADORE adore walking around town with our precious boy!

BF -BFFs....
My dear friend Jackie welcomed her son into the world only a week ago but I am so lucky to have a person that understands the emotions and changes Motherhood takes. We are both photographers and music lovers and are very alike in so many ways however it is interesting to think about how the path to parenthood has changed us and will continue to change us. We are both breatfeeding our sons and exploring and learning all that goes into it.We often text or message each other while feeding our little angels.

We are amazed at how fast the past two months have gone and how much Chase has changed. He smiles. giggles, is starting to show signs that he will be rolling over soon, and loves his mom and daddy!
We are so excited about all the adventures to come with our  little man!
