We are settled in finally, Georgia has been great so far in terms of weather and beautiful scenery. I am a bit homesick for my mom friends in DFW, but I try to keep in touch as best I can.
Hubby loves it here and it already kills him a bit to know we are going to have to leave. Chase has done beautifully adjusting and there are tons of beautiful parks and kid places we have/plan on visiting.
C is doing wonderfully sleeping in his own room, in his big boy bed and taking the occasional nap with us, the transition has only been hard on me =) I think Hubby appreciates the extra sleep.
In terms of this pregnancy, after one failed appointment and a billion phone calls and emails around town we
have decided to give our first choice a second shot. We had an appointment scheduled and ended up canceling thinking we could find something closer to our apartment. We were disappointed at how limited our choices were. We called back to reschedule and had a long talk with one of the midwives about our concerns. They also went above and beyond to get my records from one of my previous OBs how was pretty resistant and slow moving on faxing over my files. At almost 23 weeks pregnant, I was getting very emotional about the whole thing and my gut tells me this provider is the best choice.
