26 weeks and 6 days later... and i am totally ready to meet this little guy! October is no doubt going to be insane! We have something every single weekend and before you know it, it will be November and 30 weeks along! However my upcoming busy schedule doesn't really make me any less anxious about this last trimester. With the finish line approaching, I'd imagine Erik and I would be attacking a long list to "to-do's" before Chase is here, however it seems we've already got our basics covered and its still way to soon to add those final finishing touches. 13 weeks is still a long time and we are sorta at a stand still!
How I am feeling? Well I'm huge, but oddly getting used to life with a basketball in front. And although I cant wait to get back into my normal jeans and shop in a non-maternity section of the store, I get the feeling I will really miss being pregnant once its over. (I've been prego for half a year now! wow!) This pregnancy has taught me alot, not just about myself, but also my friends, family co-workers and especially my husband. I feel strongly that pregnancy can be insane experience and is surely not for the faint of heart. As Chase, Erik and I inch closer to the end of our nine months, and although its sorta hard to see it, we are all
closer and better for it.
I honestly, don't feel I've changed or adapted or even moved to a more "parent-like" state, but I do feel I know whats important now. Maybe when Chase is here, I'll blossom into the Super-Mom I've always hoped to be. Maybe I'll be exactly the same. I don't know ?? =) But I do know Erik is awesome
my friends and family are fantastic and Chase is already super cool. We have our health and each other =)
So on we blaze into the third trimester....
