Week 23 ( 9/01 -9/07 )

We are a MANGO!
Our baby weighs about as much as a large mango -- just over a pound
This week has been a fast one, lots of work and we got to see our family too! Labor Day weekend was great! We had my parents come up from South Texas and we all went to lake to see Erik's parents. It was wonderful to have us all together! Chase was the rockstar of course! He kicked and moved and showed off as much as possible while his grandparents were around!
We have just about completed his nursery. My dad helped put to the crib together and painted a nautical wheel for his room.  Mom helped me with his registry and also gave me some helpful tips on what to expect when the baby comes. (All about Dreft laundry detergent, crib and bassinet sheets, we even talked about what to put in my hospital bag)  She is very helpful!  Mom and I also went baby clothes "shopping" (We cant really buy alot because we have no idea what size he'll be)  And completely got sucked into things like baby diaper covers, baby pea coats and baby jumpsuits! I cant wait to dress Baby Chase up!
We also inherited a BEAUTIFUL quilt Erik's grandmother made! I wanted to post a pic of it, however I really want to do Chase's first pictures with it, so I'll keep it a surprise!

 Belly Update:
Ok so week 23 has brought probably the most stereotypical pregnancy symptoms:
Backache (Dull pain in the lower back especially)
Trouble Sleeping
Nausea (just once but it was gross!)
Fatigue
Moodiness

I also can feel where Chaser is (high, low, etc) He usually starts out in the morning pretty high and travels around throughout the day and settles in the middle towards the evening. He kicks daily now although there really is no schedule to it.  I am HUGE! Its hard to believe I still have a hundred plus days of being pregnant!
We have a doctors appointment this week, so hopefully we can get to see the little guy!
And then the following week we have our appointment with the specialist. So we will definitely
get to see him then.
So little Chase has already been a pretty busy guy this month.  He is definitely very loved!
