38 Weeks : skype shower

 38 Weeks!!

This is an exciting marker because I had C at 38 weeks and 4 days

That of course does not mean this baby will come this week but its sorta nice to realize how close we are to meeting her. This was also a special week as I had my Skype shower with my DFW buddies!

I can honestly say I had been anxiously waiting for this shower for months!!

I have the BEST group of friends in Texas and I cant wait to get back to them to give them HUGE

HUGS for continuing to be so wonderful miles and miles away. I hear from them alot through text and facebook. Their babies look so big to me now and when I get back there will actually be a group of new babies for me to meet! YAYYY SQUISHYYY BABIES!

I also can say I wouldnt have made it through this 6 month stay in Georgia without them constantly sending me and C their happy thoughts. They really do mean the world to me.

So Shower time...

I got yummy cupcakes from my friend Bonz delivered by the hubs, because you have to give a pregnant lady some sweets!  And I got to talk to all my momma friends and see their beatiful kiddos. I can say C was just completely speechless to see his buddies again. I think he got a bit emotional about it but there was a cupcake for him too, to warm his little heart and we have been reassuring him for a long long time we are going back to Texas! And yes I got emotional too  and even cried a bit when I spoke to my sweet friend Shannon who has always been such a great symbol of strength to me as I make this journey to Vbac.  And sorta cried (like a baby) again when I called to thank my friend Robin who hosted the shower at her house. 

I also received a huge box earlier that morning from my ladies. I was so excited to open it! Totally a giddy little kid!  There were bags and packages from my sweet friends and I totally savored opening each one! 

Sweet Baby got some awesome fluffy swag! Tons of colorful cloth diapers, a gorgeous dress, baby hats and there was even a big brother gift for C! 

See I told you my friends were the BEST! 

After missing them so much for so long it was just a heart and soul lifting time to see them again and just be reminded of how amazing these women are.  (insert blubbering crying pregnant woman cries here)
